about Marisa:

Thanks for taking an interest in who I am and the journey I've been on! When asked about my background I tend to describe how my love of activity, of challenge, training and of sport was the vehicle for my own personal growth and healing. Now,I bring that passion forth in working with others as a coach and counselor. Regarding my athletic background, I raced bicycles professionally at both National and International levels, my later years were spent racing long distance triathlons. This brought me many top honors, podium steps, and a much coveted National title – all for which I am so grateful. 2013 marked the transition from full time athlete to full time counselor and coach. Through my racing career, I came to identify with and confront many of my own personal obstacles. Although I do still participate in some competitions, my real love and passion lies in helping others. I believe each and every one of has the right to live a happy, free, and vibrant life. To that I am committed. –Marisa
